Service users that require care for Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) will be well looked after by the KASE Care team, who have years of experience in the support and care of service users with specialist care needs. We ensure that the service user receives the best care and feeding support possible, as well as working closely with the family to create a tailored care plan.
When a family and/or service user comes to us seeking gastrostomy care, when a surgical opening is made directly into the stomach for service users that struggle to swallow food and liquids, we offer the care needed to allow the service user to live an independent life. Our team will help to manage the intake of food and fluids, as well as any medication as per the service user’s dietary requirements.
The KASE Care team will be able to administer PEG feeding as part of a home visit. Our team of professionals will work with both the family and service user to create a tailored care plan to suit individual needs, as we recognise that not every service user and their circumstances are identical.
