The KASE Care team will be there to offer the support and guidance you need, however, it is you are feeling about your pregnancy, and we will work with you every step of the way, considering your physical and mental wellbeing. We will create a tailored care plan based on your individual situation where we will also discuss what is best for you, along with your partner and family as you see fit.

Access to Antenatal Care

If you are planning to proceed with the pregnancy, access to antenatal care is essential. The KASE Care team will ensure that you can attend all appointments and scans, monitoring the health of you and your baby. KASE Care can arrange for transport to and from your appointments, as well as organise for healthcare professionals to come out to you if necessary.

In England, all expecting mothers are offered as standard:

  • Ultrasound scans between weeks eight and 14 of pregnancy and between weeks 18 and 21
  • Antenatal screening tests to check the baby for conditions such as Down’s Syndrome
  • Blood tests checking for hepatitis B, HIV and syphilis
  • Screening for thalassaemia and sickle
