A Week of Celebrating Heroes Past and Present at KASE Care

This past week, we’ve been acknowledging our national heroes from both past and present. With VE Day celebrations and International Nursing Day, the thoughts of everyone at KASE Care have been with those who keep us safe.

On Sunday, the directors at KASE Care helped to organise a street party in which we (in line with social distancing measures) celebrated the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day with our friends and neighbours.

It was a wonderful day in which the KASE Care family joined with our community to commemorate the sacrifice of our armed forces in World War II, enjoyed the spring sunshine and took a moment to enjoy a sense of celebration in these uncertain times.

Yesterday we acknowledged the dedication and commitment of nursing staff in the UK and abroad, who continue to care for the vulnerable members of our society in the midst of a global pandemic.

As many of these nursing staff are our colleagues and friends, International Nursing Day has a special place in our hearts and we feel a tremendous sense of gratitude for the work they continue to do.

We’d encourage everyone to take some time this week to thank any nursing staff they know for their incredible dedication and sacrifice.
