For any of the services offered by KASE Care, the safety of the service user and our team is our number one priority. During these unprecedented times, as we deliver life-changing care amidst a global pandemic, our team are continuing to follow official government advice.
This means that our staff are wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as masks when in close contact with the service user to keep them safe. As the majority of our service users, particularly those with elderly live-in care services, have underlying health conditions, therefore being some of the most vulnerable to Covid-19, we ensure that every step is taken for the health and safety of our service users, as well as our team of carers.
Limiting Contacts
We are limiting the number of contacts that our staff have, reducing the risks of cross-contamination. This means you can rest assured that the carer looking after you or your loved one will not be mixing with numerous other people.
Service users who have a 24-hour live-in care assistant will not have to worry as your carer will form part of your bubble. This means that they will not be mixing with any other household, caring exclusively for your or your loved one. What this also means is that the carer will not have to maintain social distancing (unless this is specifically requested by the service user or the family) whilst administering care.

Hospital to Home
There are several reasons why a service user will require hospital to home care. This could be due to the need for post-operative care which will leave them in need of assistance due to a lack of mobility, or due to the need for treatment for their condition.
The KASE Care team ensure that our service users remain safe to and from the hospital. For example, our live-in care service users in London may be reluctant to want to commute through the busy city through fear of how many close contacts they might have. Our team, kitted out with relevant PPE, will ensure that transport is provided to and from the hospital, or any other facility as required.
Our care team will also make sure that the service user receives the care they need in the days before treatment, as well as for however long is needed after. Your healthcare assistant’s contacts will be limited, reducing the risk of transmission of Covid-19, as well as wearing medical-standard PPE equipment.
